224 intensive care patients currently. Six new deaths associated with Covid 19 infection.
From Saturday to Sunday, 1,675 new Corona infections were registered in Austria. Compared to the previous week (2,445), the number of new infections decreased by 770.
There are also six new deaths related to Covid 19 infection to report, bringing the pandemic death toll in Austria to 11,096 so far. The number of active cases is down 164 to 20,102, with a seven-day incidence of 139.23.
There are currently 825 people in Austria’s hospitals related to covid disease, down six from the previous day. 224 patients are in intensive care – five more than the day before.
In the past 24 hours, 97,609 PCR tests have been performed, with a positive rate of 1.72 percent.
