Anyone visiting Vienna’s cemeteries by car on All Saints’ Day does not need a parking ticket on the holiday. However, there are exceptions.
The ÖAMTC experts have a pleasant announcement for all road users who will be on their way to a Viennese cemetery on All Saints’ Day: Parking tickets can stay in the glove compartment.

No short-stay parking zone on All Saints’ Day in Vienna
The area-wide short-stay parking zones are only valid on workdays. But beware: there are exceptions, for example around hospitals and train stations as well as around the city hall. Therefore, you should always pay attention to the signs when parking.

Delays expected around large cemeteries in Vienna
According to ÖAMTC, delays must be expected in accessing and leaving (from) the large cemeteries (Central Cemetery, Southwest Cemetery, Ottakringer Cemetery). Since parking spaces are sometimes quickly filled to capacity, the club experts recommend arriving by public transport.
