Health Minister Wolfgang Mückstein (Greens) has advised caution at meetings and gatherings around All Saints’ Day today. “Due to the increasing numbers of Corona infections, I call on you to be especially mindful and to protect yourself as best as possible against infection,” the medical expert noted in a statement.

“Wear, especially where many people come together, a FFP2 mask, keep your distance and make sure that even at private parties all those present are tested as best as possible, vaccinated and / or recovered. This will not only protect ourselves, but also our loved ones from the dangers of Corona infection,” Mückstein recommended.

“Thousands of people in this country have lost loved ones in recent months precisely because of the corona virus pandemic. I would like to express my sincere condolences and sympathy to them today,” Mückstein said on the occasion of Memorial Day for the Deceased.

“Today we have enough vaccine available to protect ourselves in the best possible way. I therefore call on you also on the occasion of All Saints’ Day: Please get vaccinated and thus protect yourself and, above all, your loved ones from a serious illness and the tragic consequences of a Corona infection.”
