From a medical point of view, he considered a “contact reduction to be sensible.” Upper Austrian Medical Association President Peter Niedermoser pleaded for a “partial lockdown for the unvaccinated ” and demanded that politicians “act quickly. “From the hospitals the loud cry for help of the personnel is to be heard that the intensive care units threatened with constant development the collapse. Therefore, further measures are inevitable,” he pressured.
