Austria currently tops in vaccination rate
On the other hand, there is positive news to report in terms of vaccination. In the past few days, the authorities have recorded a veritable run on the vaccination supply. Vienna set new vaccination records on both Thursday and Friday, and across Austria around 73,000 people were vaccinated on Saturday. More than 12,000 people had themselves vaccinated against the coronavirus for the first time. Austria is thus currently top in the EU.
