The requirement to wear masks on AUA flights ends as of June 1
As of June 1, mandatory masks will end on Austria Airlines flights. Only on flights to countries where masks are mandatory will a mask still be mandatory during the flight.
With the relaxation of corona rules in Austria, Austrian Airlines (AUA) will also end the mask requirement on its flights on June 1.
Masks must still be worn on flights to countries where masks are mandatory
Under the government’s measures decree, the obligation to wear an FFP2 mask or mouth-nose protection on flights is suspended for the time being until Aug. 23, AUA announced Tuesday. However, every passenger can continue to wear a mask voluntarily. Passengers and crew members must also continue to wear masks on flights to countries where masks are still mandatory.
