One new death was linked to Covid 19 infection.
From Friday to Saturday, 8,912 new infections were registered in Austria. This is above the 7-day average of 8,127 infections. The 7-day incidence rises to 639.15.
In the past 24 hours, 85,380 new PCR tests were made. This results in a positive rate of 10.44 percent.
This brings the number of active Corona cases to 84,269. There is also one new death. This means that 18,758 people have died from or with SARS-CoV-2 infection across Austria.
Currently, 677 people are being treated in the hospital. There are currently 44 patients in intensive care units.
