On Monday, the Eastern Alps will be under the weakening influence of high pressure in a southwesterly flow. In the morning, the tendency for thunderstorms will increase, first on the northern side of the Alps, then in the west. The thunderstorms will form sporadically but have a high damage potential.

With decreasing air pressure from the northwest, the southerly flow will strengthen in the eastern Alps, especially in the east and southeast. It will be extremely hot, with temperatures up to 36 degrees. From the west, the tendency for thunderstorms increases significantly during early morning hours.
