Of the 150-euro energy vouchers sent to four million households in Austria to cushion the sharp rise in costs, more than 1.5 million have been redeemed so far. Around 1.1 million of these have been redeemed online.

The energy suppliers credited about 320,000 coupons in the annual statement, the Ministry of Finance announced on Tuesday. This corresponds to a sum of 48 million euros.
Voucher can still be requested until August 31
Anyone who has not yet received the voucher can request it by telephone on 050 233 798 until August 31, 2022.
