Three new deaths have been reported in association with Covid 19 infection.

From Friday to Saturday, 5,121 new infections were registered in Austria. The number is above the 7-day average of 4,890 infections. The 7-day incidence drops to 384.57.

The number of active Corona cases is rising slightly again – to 70,028. Fifty-one thousand one hundred eighty-six new PCR tests were made in the past 24 hours. That gives a positive rate of 10 percent.

There are also three new deaths. This means 19,393 people have died in connection with a SARS-CoV-2 infection throughout Austria.

There are currently 1,079 patients being treated in hospitals and 76 patients in intensive care units.
