The payout of the Vienna Energy Bonus 2023 has already started.

Vienna extends “Energy Support Plus“
The deadline for applications for the Vienna Energy Bonus 2023 begins on Monday, April 17. Single-person households with a gross annual income of up to 40,000 euros and multi-person households with a gross yearly income of up to 100,000 euros will be supported with 200 euros each.
Up to 650,000 Viennese households – two-thirds of all households in the federal capital – will receive the support, which involves a budget volume of around 130 million euros.
Viennese households receive letters on energy bonus 2023
Written notifications from the City of Vienna have been sent to all Viennese households since April 11. Around 556,000 households will receive a letter informing them that they will automatically be paid the Vienna Energy Bonus 2023 without making any further application.
These people have already applied for the Vienna Energy Bonus 2022 by March 25, 2023, and in whose households there have been no relevant changes. They will be instructed to pay the 2023 energy bonus to the last bank account given, or it will be paid out again by postal order.

The first payouts already reached the Viennese on April 13. In the next few days, the Vienna Energy Bonus 2023 should have arrived at all these 556,000 households.
The following must be taken into account when no automatic payment is made
All other Viennese households that do not receive an automatic payment of the Vienna Energy Bonus 2023 will also receive a letter from the City of Vienna. These are, for example, people who have recently moved to Vienna from another province.
“Energy Support Plus”: Vienna extends until mid-2023
Their letter contains a unique password for the online application for the Vienna Energy Bonus 2023. In the next few days, all these households should have received their letter with the individual password.
