Temperatures will climb again to almost 30 degrees!

With the support of a high-pressure area over the Balkans, very mild air will reach the country’s east again on Monday. With the passage of a short wave trough, however, it remains unstable in the northeast. On Tuesday and Wednesday, the high-pressure influence from the southwest continues to increase, and the stable and hot weather for the time of year thus prevails nationwide.

On Monday, clouds will quickly dominate in the north and east after a partly friendly start, and rain will spread from the northeast by noon. Otherwise, it will remain predominantly dry. After the dissolution of local fog fields, a partly friendly sun-cloud mix will set in, with the sun shining longest from Vorarlberg to Upper Carinthia. The wind will blow briskly to enormously from west to northwest, in the east initially still moderately from the south, and the temperatures will reach a maximum of 17 to 27 degrees from north to southwest.

On Tuesday, the day will start in the eastern half with many clouds, especially in the north and east, with some rain in some areas, but sunshine will quickly dominate in the west. It will dry out in the day, and the sun will gradually assert itself from the west; in the afternoon, a friendly mix of sun and clouds will prevail. With moderate to brisk winds from predominantly westerly directions, temperatures will reach 19 to 27 degrees, with the highest values in the southwest.
Wednesday will initially offer some fog or high fog fields, for example, in the southern basins or the Danube region. However, these will dissipate by mid-morning at the latest and subsequently, sunshine will dominate, with high-lying and harmless veil clouds hardly spoiling the friendly impression. The wind will blow weakly to moderately from westerly to southerly directions, and it will again be hot, with highs between 21 and 27 degrees.

On Thursday, a few fog patches will initially persist in the valleys and basins, but these will clear in the morning, and then a friendly mix of sun and clouds will prevail, especially in the south and west. Otherwise, more clouds may appear at noon, but the nice weather character will dominate overall. On the northern side of the Alps, moderate to brisk westerly winds will freshen up, with temperatures reaching a maximum of 21 to 27 degrees.
