Indeed you’ve been called by an unknown number before. Did you also have such a queasy feeling? So that it doesn’t happen to you again, we’ll show you how to find out who it was right away!

It’s unpleasant when you look at your ringing cell phone and stare at an unknown number. Who could it be? Should I even answer? And if not, do I need to call back?

How to uncover who’s behind the call
Questions upon questions stem solely from the fact that we don’t know who’s on the other end of the line. Or maybe we do? We’ll show you how to find out who’s trying to reach you within seconds.

The keyword is “Whatsapp.” When an unknown number calls you, save it to your smartphone. Once the call has died down, open the app and search for the number in question under “Contacts.” You should be able to find it there after saving it.

The trick: If the unknown caller has a Whatsapp account, they will most likely have a profile picture. Based on this, you can probably already estimate whether you know the person or not.

If that doesn’t help, you can take a look at the status. Does it allow you to conclude with one of your acquaintances? If contrary to all expectations, the unknown caller does not have “Whatsapp,” you will probably not be able to avoid a callback.

The same applies if the number is suppressed. No “Whatsapp” and no brooding will help. If it’s urgent, they will get back to you later.

You should never do these three things with your cell phone: charge it next to the bed, leave the beloved piece on the desk, and, above all, don’t charge it at the airport!
