[FINANZAMT] Your outstanding debt with the number 23894891 has not been paid despite several reminders. On 28 February 2023, the Finance police will seize your household goods as a precaution. You can avoid the seizure proceedings by paying the full amount immediately via your payment link. (Link)

According to the SMS, the recipients have outstanding debts to settle and therefore have to transfer an amount of 349 euros. This is the only way to avoid the threat of garnishment proceedings. Such fraud attempts could also occur via e-mail and phone calls.
