In the past 24 hours, 714 new infections and one death were recorded again.
So far there have been 42,214 positive test results in Austria. As of today (September 26, 2020, 09:30 a.m.), 787 people throughout Austria have died as a result of the corona virus and 33,154 have recovered. At present, 423 people are undergoing hospital treatment due to the corona virus and 80 of these patients are in intensive care units.
The new infections since the last notification are divided among the provinces of Austria as follows:
Burgenland: 20
Carinthia: 16
Lower Austria: 119
Upper Austria: 95
Salzburg: 45
Styria: 32
Tyrol: 61
Vorarlberg: 29
Vienna: 297
