Starting tomorrow, Tuesday, there will also be vaccination appointments for 12- to 19-year-olds in Vienna. This was stated on Twitter by the spokesman for City Health Councillor Peter Hacker (SPÖ).
Initially, it was said that the vaccination appointments for parent-child vaccination should already be available from today.
This will also significantly increase the rate of first-time vaccinations for young people. As Health Minister Wolfgang Mückstein (Greens) explained today (Monday), 6.3 percent of 12- to 15-year-olds have currently already been vaccinated with a first dose. Among 16- to 25-year-olds, the figure is already 34 percent, or more than a third of the vaccine-eligible population in that age group.
