The delta variant continues to be on the rise in the federal capital! Thus, the number of active sick people has once again grown.
The Vienna Health Authority and the Medical Crisis Staff of the City of Vienna regularly inform about the current case numbers and other key figures on the Covid-19 virus.
As of Tuesday, 142,267 positive tests have been confirmed in the federal capital since the pandemic began. This means there have been a total of 48 new infections in the last 24 hours. 138,643 people have beaten the virus and recovered.
The number of deaths related to the virus remains unchanged at 2,361, meaning that the federal capital is currently recording 1,263 active cases. This compares with 1,256 active sick people yesterday, Monday.
