The corona crisis affects the life of the Austrians from Sunday onwards a little more. At outdoor events only 1,500 people are allowed, indoor only 1,000 and even that only with a mask and if the seats are assigned. If this is not the case, the maximum number of adults indoors is six, and twelve outdoors. In addition, there is a maximum of six children in each room. Only at funerals are 100 people still allowed.
It is new starting from Sunday that after the closing time within a radius of 50 meters around a gastro trade no more alcoholic beverages may be consumed. A maximum of six adults are permitted as groups in restaurants and thus per table.
Furthermore, from Sunday onwards, a one-metre distance must again be observed outdoors, with exceptions, for example, for people from the same household. A mouth and nose protector must be worn in all closed rooms, including pedestrian passages. The same applies in all means of transport as well as at stops and stations.
Residents of retirement and nursing homes must also wear mouth and nose protectors outside of their homes, if medically responsible. For non-professional choirs and music bands, from Sunday onwards, a maximum of six people may participate indoors and twelve people outdoors.
