On Saturday there were again numerous new corona infections. 6,611 people tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
From Friday to Saturday there were a total of 6,611 new corona infections throughout Austria. 104 people died in connection with the virus.
The new infections by federal states:
Burgenland: 194
Carinthia: 444
Lower Austria: 919
Upper Austria: 1,569
Salzburg: 612
Styria: 802
Tyrol: 686
Vorarlberg: 461
Vienna: 924
On Friday, health authorities reported 6,708 new infections and 108 corona deaths.
