To date, there have been 340,373 positive test results in Austria. As of today (December 21, 2020, 09:30 a.m.), 5,435 people across Austria have died as a result of Corona virus and 305,658 have recovered. Currently, 2,871 people are undergoing hospital treatment due to the Corona virus, and of these, 478 of the ill are in intensive care units.

The new infections since the last report are divided among the provinces of Austria as follows:

Burgenland: 68
Carinthia: 133
Lower Austria: 324
Upper Austria: 272
Salzburg: 91
Styria: 156
Tyrol: 147
Vorarlberg: 84
Vienna: 244
