A coronavirus testing center is now also being set up at Schönbrunn Palace. Starting next Thursday, two locations for rapid antigen tests will be available there. This was reported by APA on Monday and published in vienna.at. APA reports that Vienna City Councillor for Health Peter Hacker announced that a “walk-in” with three test lines will be installed at the vicinity of Schönbrunn Palace. There will be drive-in stations at the bus parking lot.
Registration required, location open daily
Both locations will be open daily from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Registration is required. It will be possible starting tomorrow, Tuesday, 12:00 noon. Rapid tests are offered. If this is positive, there is the possibility of a PCR gargle test immediately afterwards.
“The Schönbrunn site is now the sixth test site to be opened in Vienna. We have thus been able to significantly expand our decentralized testing services and close the gap in testing in the west of Vienna,” said Hacker. He added that the other test sites, such as Stadthalle and now Liesing, were very well received: “This is another important step we are taking to ensure that the range of tests required for the necessary occupational group tests is as broad as possible.”
