On Wednesday, 3,239 new corona virus infections were reported in Austria within the past 24 hours. More than 1,000 cases occurred in Vienna.
To date, there have been 501,224 positive test results in Austria. As of today (March 17, 2021, 9:30 a.m.), 8,956 people across Austria have died as a result of corona virus and 463,714 have recovered. Currently, 1,851 people are undergoing hospitalization for corona virus. Of these, 400 are being cared for in intensive care units.
