The Corona ordinance is effective June 10, 2021.
The Ministry of Health issued the Corona Regulation for the next relaxations. These rules will apply starting June 10, 2021.
Opening steps starting June 10 and July 1.
Corona relaxations starting June 10 include extending the curfew from 10 p.m. to midnight, raising the occupancy rate for cultural institutions from 50 percent to 75 percent and eliminating the mask and distance requirement for gatherings of up to eight people.
Covid rules to take effect June 10 in Austria
Started with 10 June, so Thursday next week. The curfew is thus extended to 24 o’clock at the very beginning of the weekend business. Waiters must carry however also in the free one mask further. Indoors, a maximum of eight adults are allowed per table; outdoors, 16 adults plus children in need of supervision. These limits also apply to gatherings in private. For gatherings of up to eight people, a mask is also not required. The spacing rule also does not apply.
Particularly favorable for retailers and museums is that the square meter/customer number will be limited from 20 to ten. At the same time, the minimum distance will be halved to one meter.
Outdoor mask obligation dropped
The mask obligation, which still applies outdoors at events, will be dropped. At worksites, non-public sports venues, and recreational and cultural facilities without on-site staff, 3-G proof (vaccinated, recovered, or tested) must be kept on hand, but no longer must be shown in advance.
For tour buses and excursion boats, the occupancy restriction is lifted, but 3-G proof is required. Cable cars and trains can be filled up to 75 percent.
As for extracurricular children and youth work, 50 participants will be allowed starting June 10. This also applies to supervised vacation camps.
A rather minor innovation already goes into effect on Friday. With opportunity markets, on which goods, meals and beverages are offered for the sales, it needs neither 3-G-proof nor contact data requirements.
