From Wednesday to Thursday, there were 283 new Corona infections in Austria. Compared to the previous week (282), this is one less new infection.
In addition, there is one new death related to a Covid 19 infection. In Styria, there is one fewer death due to data adjustment.
In Austrian hospitals, the situation continues to ease. There are eight fewer patients in normal wards and six fewer patients in intensive care units.
So far, there have been 647,971 positive test results in Austria. As of today, 10,650 people across Austria have died as a result of the Corona virus and 632,660 have recovered. Currently, 362 people are undergoing hospital treatment due to the corona virus. Of these, 118 are being cared for in intensive care units.
