As of today, the Corona vaccine from Biontech/Pfizer is also available in Vienna without registration. Every day from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., anyone willing to be vaccinated can come to Austria Center Vienna (ACV) without prior registration and receive their first shot of the mRNA vaccine. The campaign runs until Sunday.
All you need to bring is an ID card and – if available – an e-card, explains the office of Health City Councilor Peter Hacker.
Flexibly compatible
The vaccine from Biontech/Pfizer is used to vaccinate people over the age of twelve. The interval to the second partial vaccination can be flexibly agreed – there must be at least three weeks between the first and second vaccination. Up to 2,000 people can be immunized per day as part of the campaign without registration. On the website www.acv.at, a traffic light shows the utilization rate for this vaccination offer.
The same campaign without registration runs until Sunday at the Austria Center with the vaccine from Johnson & Johnson, for which no second vaccination is necessary for the time being. In addition to the offers at the ACV, the vaccination boxes at Rathausplatz and on weekends on the Danube Island or the vaccination boat on the Old Danube also continue to be available without prior registration. The desire for a quick, uncomplicated vaccination is still great, it said on the part of the city.
