On Friday, a vaccination box opens at the Vienna Stadionbad. It is planned for the duration of the bathing season. There is no need to register.
Vienna is opening its next vaccination box. It will start tomorrow, Friday, at the Stadionbad (corner Praterallee), as City Hall announced on Thursday. There will be free and without registration vaccinations with the vaccine of Johnson & Johnson or for people under 18 years with the vaccine of Biontech/Pfizer administered. The offer is to continue throughout the entire bathing season.
Several vaccination campaigns in Vienna
After the two boxes at Rathausplatz and on the Danube Island as well as the vaccination boat on the Old Danube, this is the fourth location in Vienna where the stings are offered on a low-threshold basis. The central vaccination center is still the Austria Center.
Vaccination: Take ID and e-card with you
You need to bring an identity card and – if available – an e-card to the stadionbad. The box is open during the day on Fridays and at weekends. Up to 130 people can be vaccinated per day. If necessary, the capacity can be increased threefold.
