In the past 24 hours, 7,408 new coronavirus infections were registered in Austria. The highest number of cases occurred in Lower Austria on Easter Sunday (4/17/2022, 9:30 a.m.).

Seven thousand four hundred eight new infections with the coronavirus have been registered in Austria in the past 24 hours. This is below the average of 9,405 cases per day over the past seven days, according to figures from the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of the Interior (as of 9:30 a.m. Sunday).

Seven-day incidence drops to 733 cases in Austria.

The seven-day incidence thus dropped to 733.1 cases per 100,000 population. Thirteen people have died in association with the covid disease since yesterday.

As of Easter Sunday, there were 132,507 active cases in Austria, down 6,176 from the previous day.
