The new week starts with 6,297 new Corona infections and two virus deaths in just 24 hours.

New week, new Corona scare: according to “Heute” info, there are 6,297 new Corona infections and two deaths related to the Coronavirus in the latest 24 hours on Monday. In comparison, 8,700 new Corona infections were reported in Austria last Monday. Thus, fewer cases have been written today than in the previous week.

And this is how the development looks in the domestic hospitals: In regular wards, 2,409 people currently have to be cared for with Covid-19 – a minus of 7 cases compared to Sunday. In intensive care units, 120 critically ill patients are being treated.
