There will be only light winds: early temperatures 14 to 22 degrees, and daily highs 30 to 35 degrees.
Summery hot Wednesday
On Wednesday, the sun will be out most of the time and extremely hot. However, throughout the day, especially in Austria’s eastern half, the likelihood of showers and thunderstorms will rise, especially in the mountainous and hilly regions. The wind will be mostly light. Early temperatures range from 15 to 22 degrees, with daytime highs of 29 to 35 degrees.
Once again, high pressure influences the weather on Thursday, and it is sunny and hot in large parts of the country. In the late afternoon, only a few isolated hot thunderstorms will develop over the mountains. Otherwise, it will remain primarily precipitation-free. The northern foothills of the Alps could only be reached by lines of thunderstorms over Bavaria on Friday night. The wind will be light during the day. A cold front on Friday
A cold front will slowly approach from the northwest on Friday, and in the run-up to this cold front, the tendency for thunderstorms will increase significantly everywhere. The morning will bring mostly sunny weather, but from noon onwards, starting in the mountains, more and more thunderstorms will spread, focusing on the mountains and hills. The wind will be light to moderate from southeast to west, except for thunderstorm gusts. Early temperatures will range from 15 to 22 degrees Celsius, and daily highs from west to east will range from 24 to 35 degrees Celsius.
