Join the Filipino Community in Austria in this colorful street parade featuring the most popular festivals of the Philippines. A historical event organized by the European Network of Filipino Diaspora-Austria (ENFiD-Austria) in cooperation with the ENFID – European Network of Filipino Diaspora.
Now in its 4th year, the event will be represented by 17 European countries, FilCom, and international organisations based in Vienna, Austria. The renowned Musikkapelle (music band) Musikverein Leopoldau, a multi-awarded music band in Austria, will lead the parade with their 25-man/woman band.
Parade participants also have the chance to win 1000 euro first prize.
The parade of festivals will begin from Stephansplatz to Sigmund Freud Park, a green space bordering the historic Votiv Church in the 1st district of Vienna, Austria.
The Pamana Parade and its programme will showcase performances from different regions and societies in the Philippines.
Briefings will take place on May 5, 2024, at 15 Hours at the grounds of the Pfarre Leopoldau, Leopoldauer Platz 12, 1210 Vienna.
It was on October 30, 2021, when ENFID-Austria staged this incredible show of the richness of Filipino culture for the first time. The Philippine Embassy in Vienna commended ENFID-Austria for organizing the event and all the participating Filipino organizations.
