Coronavirus-infected people with no or only mild symptoms of the disease will no longer have to go into domestic isolation in Spain as a rule from Monday. This was agreed upon by the Ministry of Health in Madrid with the country’s autonomous communities, as the ministry announced yesterday.
Only for vulnerable groups of people should the previous measures continue to apply. This would include all people over 60 and those with immune deficiencies, pregnant women, and health care workers.
The previous obligation to test for and report a possible CoV infection would also be dropped, except in severe cases. The epidemic situation in Spain, which was hit particularly hard at the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, has meanwhile eased considerably. The 7-day incidence is 210.
